High School for Recording Arts was proud to attend and present a workshop at the National Charter School Conference in New Orleans. But you know what they say, “When in New Orleans, do as the New Orleanese do.” We got the chance to hit a couple of jazz clubs, visit Musicians Village in the Lower 9th Ward to see the Katrina reconstruction, and sit in with some incredible musicians. Did we mention the cuisine? Oysters, crawdads, beignets, Po Boy sandwiches…mmmmm.
