Some HSRA students and staff attended Randy Jensen’s housewarming party in Brooklyn Park Thursday night, October 23. Randy and his friends may be the most generous people in Minnesota. After some great food and outstanding student performances, Randy and party raised $9,000 for HSRA. Whoo Hoo go Randy, LubeTech and friends. Amazing Grace.

Students attended a speech by Michelle Obama, Democratic Presidential Candidate Barack Obama’s wife, on the campus of Macalester College in St. Paul on Monday, October 13. For election news, music and commentary, tune into The Fo Sho on B96 radio every Sunday morning. The students’ reaction to Monday… “Get out and vote!”
Course Description
In this course students will learn about Audio Engineering through a hands on project. Students will work with other students with the help of a music facilitator to develop knowledge, skill and technique in a professional studio environment. The goal in this workshop is to provide students with a professional recording facility, experience hands on technical training, and further more, encourage their creative efforts in education.

Saturday night friends, family, and HSRA staff and students helped Susan Campion celebrate her birthday at Intermedia Arts. The Fo Band and Chantel provided the entertainment while T Ant spun the tunes. It was a great celebration with Susan asking for donations to the school instead of gifts or cards. A big shout out to the friends and families of Darrian Mallory and Charlie Maggitt II. Both young men completed their graduation requirements and HSRA celebrated their Commencement Thursday, September 25, 2008. Congratulations!
